CANDLE OF THE MONTH - Hive

Introducing our first "Candle of the Month" ~ HIVE.

"Candle of the Month" is a new feature of Wik & Ware's offerings. Every month a new candle will be featured for one month only. Depending on the popularity of each feature, they may return again in the following year- or not! There will be a spectrum of candles featured (hand dipped, poured or accessorised) across a range of sizes, prices and interest. This allows for creative freedom as a maker and something special to offer customers.

This beauty is hand rolled using 100% Pure Australian Beeswax from Central Victoria and lead-free cotton wick. These candles came to fruition during a spell of very cold Winter days, where I warmed myself and sheets of beeswax in front of the heater. The room was soon filled with a subtle scent of honey and a little family of candles was born.

The beeswax sheets used to make Hive create one of the most recognisable beeswax candles, known for their intricate texture and warm honey scent. There is such beauty in the melted lace work that is created from the wall of the candle and is really special to burn.
