CANDLE OF THE MONTH ~ Wave

Introducing our second "Candle of the Month" ~ WAVE.

"Candle of the Month" is a new feature of Wik & Ware's offerings. Every month a new candle will be featured for one month only. Depending on the popularity of each feature, they may return again in the following year- or not! There will be a spectrum of candles featured (hand dipped, poured or accessorised) across a range of sizes, prices and interest. This allows for creative freedom as a maker and something special to offer customers.

This striking candle is hand dipped using lead free cotton wick and 100% pure Australian beeswax. They are repeatedly hand dipped into a molten vat of pure beeswax before being gently twisted and then being hand dipped again until the perfect size is achieved. Made to fit snugly into a standard 20mm taper candle holder (you may need to soften the ends before inserting in your holder as it’s not a true circle), these are an intriguing point of difference to a standard taper candle, with their gentle curves and wavy silhouette.

Given their twisted nature they require a little more care when burning, so keep the wick trimmed and the candle and wick straightened to prevent excessive dripping of wax. These WILL drip wax from the edge of the candle, so ensure that you have your candle in an appropriately sized holder and a plate or dish under the holder to catch any excess drips.

These are very uniquely hand made, you will definitely not have 2 candles that are an exact replica of each other - how special is handmade?!
